WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop in-depth knowledge of PMMA properties
- Participate in research and development initiatives focused on PMMA products including polymer synthesis, blending and color development
- Monitor industry developments, identify emerging market needs, and support local product and application development.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to internal staff and external customers on PMMA applications.
- Perform other Technical center related duties as assigned by the direct manager.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
- Master’s degree or above in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in polymer processing, synthesis or blending, color matching, preferably in PMMA, PC or related materials.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 is a strong asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset and ability to translate customer needs into company’s technical solutions aligned with business target.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions and regions.
- Solid understanding of polymer blending techniques and material testing methods.
- Lab/Team management experience
