WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS
The Inside Sales Associate is a commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth by actively managing customer relationships, responding quickly to commercial requests, developing new opportunities, and maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline. This role supports both existing customers and new business development by preparing quotations, executing pricing strategies, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring accurate CRM pipeline management. Unlike traditional customer service roles focused on order processing, this position is responsible for proactively engaging the market, identifying opportunities, and accelerating commercial execution. The Inside Sales Representative works closely with Sales Managers, Technical Service, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure rapid customer response and successful conversion of opportunities into profitable business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential customers using market databases, digital tools, and industry networks.
- Generate and qualify new leads based on industry, application, and market potential.
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and digital platforms to introduce the company and product portfolio.
- Maintain accurate lead information in the CRM system.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Manage a defined portfolio of customer accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to identify demand, projects, and new applications.
- Respond quickly to customer inquiries, quotation requests, and commercial discussions.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement.
- Quotation & Pricing Execution
- Prepare and issue commercial quotations in accordance with company pricing guidelines.
- Support execution of pricing strategies within assigned accounts.
- Follow up on quotations to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure pricing proposals align with margin objectives.
- Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity data in the CRM system.
- Track opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
- Update opportunity stages, expected volumes, and probability levels.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy and completeness.
- Forecasting & Commercial Planning
- Collect demand forecasts from customers.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts based on CRM pipeline data.
- Identify risks and deviations from forecast.
- Support preparation of sales reports and performance updates.
- Market Intelligence
- Capture insights regarding customer needs, competitive activity, and market trends.
- Share relevant market information with the commercial team.
- Support identification of new business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Technical Service on product trials and technical support.
- Work with Customer Service and Supply Chain to ensure smooth order execution.
- Ensure commercial commitments are aligned with operational capabilities.
